Our youth ministry program works in collaboration with the area Catholic high schools to which our teens belong. Each Catholic high school has a full time, fully staffed Campus Ministry program which we support and encourage. Often our priests are asked to participate in the Sacramental opportunities at these high schools. Our parishioners are proud students at these local high schools:
Holy Name
St. Ignatius
St. Edward
Magnificat
St. Joseph Academy
Elyria Catholic
North Olmsted High School (does not provide Campus Ministry)
We encourage our teens to participate in the life of the parish through participation in liturgical ministries, service opportunities, and leadership. Currently we have teens who are Lectors or Altar Servers at weekend mass, who serve on Parish Pastoral Council, who are involved in Confirmation Preparation, and periodic service projects throughout the year.
St. Brendan School keeps in close contact with our alumni. Throughout each school year our pastor, principal, school teachers reach out with an encouraging note to our graduates who are entering high school, who achieved academic honors, or who are graduating high school.
All our teens who are in public or Catholic high school will be invited to gather for an evening of prayer and connection periodically throughout the year.
