CYO Tennis
Dear CYO Parents and Athletes:
We are excited to offer CYO Tennis for the upcoming season. Children have an opportunity to develop fundamentals, compete with friends, and enjoy a game that they can play their entire lives. Please read the information below and sign up quickly (using the links below). Space and number of participants is limited.
Like all CYO programs, our CYO tennis program aims to bring our mission to life: CYO inspires young people to know God, to love God, and to serve God through athletics.
CYO Tennis will be played at our three partner clubs below for children to compete in their grade (3rd – 5th or 6th – 8th) to develop fundamentals with trained United States Tennis Association instructors.
The Pope Francis program is instructional with half of the time working on fundamentals while the other half of the time is reinforcing those fundamental skills in competitive drills and activities.
The CYO Junior Team Tennis program is for children in Grades 6 – 8 to learn how to compete and play matches. Players will learn how to prepare for matches, keep score, court positioning, and match strategy. All CYO Junior Team Tennis matches will take place at the club where your child is registered.
Children in grades 6 – 8 may play in both the Pope Francis instructional program and in the CYO Junior Team Tennis program.
Each CYO program includes 5 ninety - minute sessions, court time, and trained instructors with a registration fee of $150.
