Congratulations to the St. Brendan Parish School Class of 2014. They are ready to set sail for their next academic journey. The 37 graduates (Class of 2018) attended the following high schools: Holy Name, Magnificat, North Olmsted, North Ridgeville, St. Edward, St. Ignatius, St. Joseph Academy, and Westlake.

They are on course to

BGSU (1), University of Cincinnati (2), CSU (5), University of Dayton (1), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, FL (1), John Carrol University (4), Kent State University (1), Miami University (1), Ohio University (1), The Ohio State University (4), University of Toledo (1), Tri C (5), Trine University, Angola, Indiana (1), and the College of Wooster (1). With certainty, the schools in italics awarded scholarships to the students. At this time, we are unsure where eight of the students will be venturing.

Points of interest

*John Carrol University has awarded the largest total amount of scholarship money to the Class of 2018.

*Anna C., the maverick among the ladies will be attending and playing women’s hockey at Trine University! Trine is a small, private school with a 130-year plus, history. Trine’s women’s hockey team is the only women’s intercollegiate team in Indiana.

Another pioneering graduate is majoring in Aerospace Engineering. Jack S. will attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, the world's largest, fully accredited university specializing in aviation and aerospace.

To all of our graduates remain

Anchored in faith, hope and tradition.
